My take: Fmr. President Trump will be mildly restrained in an effort to avoid his last disastrous debate with Biden. President Biden will be amped up on an amphetamine and will be rested from a week of debate prep and sleep at Camp David. Trump has been on the campaign trail and is notorious for winging it. His cavalier approach was novel in 2016 but now strikes Americans as unstudied and underwhelming. Biden has clearly deteriorated but he is usually underestimated by the right in terms of his debate capacity, especially after his handlers put him in a week of cryogenics and preparation. Both men will parrot vague talking points and nothing Reaganesque will transpire. But, it will be entertaining!
